Baitedi, Sept 7: A child has died after being mauled by a leopard in Talluswarad of Baitedi. The incident took place on Friday evening, as the child playing in front of his home was attacked by the wild animal all of a sudden.
The deceased has been identified as Sudip, the seven-year-old son of Ram Singh Madaika in ward no. 2 of Shivanath rural municipality, according to police inspector Kishan Chand. The body of the child taken away by the leopard was later found some 500 meters away from the house at around 10:oo, three hours after the attack. (RSS)
